SUPER BOMBERMAN COLLECTION Deluxe Edition

Seven Bomberman games on one cartridge, and yes, your SNES muscle memory still works. The Super Bomberman Collection Deluxe Edition for Nintendo Switch brings together all five Super Bomberman titles from the Super Famicom era plus both original Famicom Bomberman games into a single physical release with exclusive collector extras.

This is Bomberman from 1993 through 1997, the run that defined multiplayer chaos for an entire generation of couch competitors. Super Bomberman through Super Bomberman 5, every entry that turned living rooms into war zones, all running on modern hardware with save states, rewind, and quality-of-life features that the originals never had. A Boss Rush Mode and a music player loaded with tracks from all five Super Bomberman titles round out a compilation that respects the source material.

The Deluxe Edition is a Red Art Games exclusive, adding a deluxe alternate cover sleeve and a bomb-shaped stress ball to the physical package, complete with a game manual. It's a clean, focused set of extras that complements the retro energy of the collection without overcomplicating things.

Bomberman is one of those franchises where the classic entries still play better than most modern attempts at the formula. Having the complete Super Famicom run in physical form on Switch, with the Famicom originals as a bonus, represents a chunk of gaming history that was previously scattered across decades of Japanese hardware. This Deluxe Edition is the version that tells your shelf you didn't just grab the standard release and call it a day.
