Sonic Colours Limited Edition

Gotta go fast, but maybe slow down long enough to appreciate what's in this box. The Sonic Colours Limited Edition on Wii, released in the United Kingdom, came in an oversized cardboard box housing the game alongside an articulated Sonic figurine and three Wisp figures pulled straight from the game's universe. Sonic Colours was the title that reminded everyone Sonic Team still had it, a vibrant, imaginative platformer that restored faith in the blue blur after years of questionable outings.
The articulated Sonic figure isn't some cheap pack-in either. It's a proper display piece with poseable joints, and the three accompanying Wisps add an in-universe authenticity that most collector's editions don't even attempt. These aren't generic trinkets.
They're characters central to the game's mechanics, rendered in physical form. As a UK exclusive release, this Limited Edition had a naturally constrained production window, and finding one complete with all figures intact is the kind of quiet challenge that separates casual buyers from real collectors. The oversized box has solid shelf presence, and the contents inside justify every inch of it.
If Sonic Colours was the hedgehog's redemption arc, this edition is the trophy case it deserved.
