Budget-tier sniping with just enough extra to make you feel like you got something special. The Sniper 2: Ghost Warrior Limited Edition on Playstation 3 doesn't try to overwhelm you with physical goodies, and that's fine. What it does offer leans into the multiplayer side of things, giving you tools to stand out in the lobby.

You get the Vintorez sniper rifle, affectionately known as "The Thread Cutter," unlocked for multiplayer use right out of the gate. There's also Anderson, the game's protagonist and ex-Delta Force operator, available as a playable multiplayer character decked out in an exclusive ghillie suit. It's the kind of cosmetic flex that actually meant something back when not everyone had it.

The whole package comes housed in a Game-o-Card, which is essentially a cardboard game slipcase. Nothing premium about the packaging, but it does its job. This is a PS3-era limited edition that understood its lane.

It wasn't trying to compete with statue-laden collector's sets. It gave multiplayer-focused players a head start and a reason to pick this version over the standard release. For Ghost Warrior completionists building out a full set of the franchise's various editions, this one fills a specific slot on the shelf.

The Limited Edition sits in that sweet spot of being uncommon enough to be worth tracking down without commanding absurd aftermarket attention.
