Saints Row The Third didn't just break rules. It packaged the evidence and shipped it with cufflinks. The Saints Row The Third Limited Edition on Playstation 3 is the kind of collector's set that tells you everything about the game's personality before you even open the disc tray.

The silver-plated Saints Crest cuff links are the showpiece, and they're gloriously absurd. Premium materials shaped into the logo of a fictional street gang, designed to be worn with actual formal attire. It's the most Saints Row thing imaginable, and finding a set in good condition today is harder than it should be. These weren't mass-produced trinkets. They were statement pieces for people who understood the joke and wore it anyway.

The bullet-shaped ice cube tray is pure Steelport energy. Functional, ridiculous, and guaranteed to start a conversation at any gathering. The Saints Row The Third soundtrack captures a game that licensed tracks with the same reckless confidence it brought to everything else, and having it as a physical inclusion gives the music a permanence that delisted digital tracks can't match. The sunglasses complete the package with wearable swagger that screams Third Street Saints.

Volition understood that Saints Row The Third wasn't competing with GTA on sophistication. It was competing on fun, and this Limited Edition reflects that philosophy in every item. No art books, no lore compendiums. Just cufflinks, bullet ice, sunglasses, and a soundtrack. For PS3 collectors who appreciate when a publisher commits fully to a bit, this one belongs on the shelf right next to the most serious, self-important special editions you own. The contrast is the point.
