Ryu ga Gotoku 4 Densetsu wo Tsugumono DX Pack

PLAYSTATION 3
Ryu ga Gotoku 4 Densetsu wo Tsugumono DX Pack
Sega3/18/2010REGION 2

Leave it to the Yakuza series to package a collector's edition around a flask. The Ryu ga Gotoku 4 Densetsu wo Tsugumono DX Pack on Playstation 3 ships with a stainless steel engraved flask, and honestly, it might be the most on-brand collectible any game has ever produced. Kiryu Kazuma would approve.

The flask itself is a genuinely well-crafted piece. At 100mm tall and 97mm wide with a 170ml capacity, it's compact enough to display and sturdy enough at 121 grams to feel like real hardware in your hand. The engraving ties it directly to the Yakuza 4 branding, making this more than generic barware with a logo slapped on it. This is a purpose-built collectible that channels the series' identity, the smoky bars, the late-night Kamurocho wandering, the lifestyle that made Yakuza unlike anything else on the PS3.

Japanese special editions from this era consistently delivered items with a level of craftsmanship that Western releases rarely matched. The DX Pack is a perfect example. While other collector's editions were stuffing boxes with paper goods and plastic figurines, Sega went with engraved stainless steel. For Yakuza collectors and PS3 import enthusiasts, this is a grail-tier piece. It sits on a shelf and immediately tells anyone who sees it that you know exactly what Ryu ga Gotoku means, and you've got the collection to prove it.
