Red Colony Trilogy Collector's Edition

NINTENDO SWITCH
Red Colony Trilogy Collector's Edition
East Asia SoftPrint: 2000

Three games. One card. Zombies, dinosaurs, robots, and enough anime-style ecchi energy to power a small colony on Mars. The Red Colony Trilogy Collector's Edition for Nintendo Switch packs all three entries of this indie 2D horror series onto a single physical cartridge, delivering the complete saga from outbreak to android showdown.

The original Red Colony follows researcher Maria as she searches for her daughter in a virus-ravaged facility overrun with zombies. Red Colony 2 shifts to Nicole, a mother fighting through the slums of Blue Colony to rescue her own child. Red Colony 3 goes fully off the rails with android protagonist Mina battling zombies, dinosaurs, and mutagenic monsters on her way back to Titan. Each entry is a side-scrolling horror action game with puzzle elements, limited ammo, and scare scenes that lean into the series' signature aesthetic.

This trilogy is self-aware in the best way. It knows exactly what it is, a love letter to classic survival horror filtered through anime sensibility and B-movie plotting that escalates from a zombie outbreak to interplanetary robot combat across three installments. The fact that all three fit on one Switch card makes this a compact, complete package that doesn't ask you to hunt down individual releases.

For collectors who appreciate the weird, the wild, and the unapologetically niche, the Red Colony Trilogy is the kind of set piece that makes people do a double take when they're scanning your shelf.
