Ratchet & Clank: All for One Special Edition

An eight-inch Ratchet plushie was included, and honestly, that alone closes the argument. The Ratchet & Clank: All for One Special Edition on Playstation 3 delivered the plushie alongside a 3D lenticular cover, four extra character skins for Ratchet, Clank, Qwark, and Dr. Nefarious, four bonus weapons including the beloved Sheepinator, plus PlayStation Network avatars and a dynamic theme. This is the kind of joyful, overstuffed package that the PS3 era did so well.

Ratchet & Clank has always understood that fun is a legitimate design philosophy, and this special edition extends that understanding to the physical goods. The lenticular cover shifts and pops with the franchise's signature color palette, giving the case real shelf presence among a sea of muted PS3 spines. It's a small detail that makes a big difference when you're scanning a collection.

The plushie, though. Eight inches of Lombax charm, soft enough to sit on a desk and detailed enough to sit in a display case. Ratchet plush toys from official game bundles don't come around often, and this one carries the specific provenance of being packed in with All for One's cooperative-focused entry. It's a tactile reminder of a franchise that never took itself too seriously but always took its craft seriously.

The four bonus weapons, Mr. Zurkon, Pyro Blaster, T-Rex Morph, and Sheepinator Morph, were classic Ratchet absurdity given early access. The Sheepinator alone has been a fan-favorite gag weapon for over a decade. This special edition bottled everything the series does best and wrapped it in a package that collectors and fans can appreciate equally. Pure shelf joy.
