Nine Sols Deluxe Edition

Nine Sols already proved that Taoism-infused metroidvania combat could make grown adults weep, and now the Nine Sols Deluxe Edition for Nintendo Switch gives us a reason to clear premium shelf space. This deluxe physical release packs in the game alongside an original 16-page epilogue comic penned by writer Shihwei Yang and artist Pege Ho, extending the story beyond what the screen delivers. There's a collectible physical coin straight from Shuanshuan himself, a double-sided 19"x12" poster featuring the full map of New Kunlun, three sticker sheets including a jumbo transparent sticker, and a 16-page instruction booklet from the developers loaded with tips and character bios.
The craftsmanship here mirrors the game itself. Nine Sols doesn't cut corners in its world-building, and neither does this edition. That epilogue comic alone transforms this from a nice package into a genuine narrative extension, the kind of thing you can't just download later.
The New Kunlun map poster is the sort of piece that earns wall space in a collection room, not a junk drawer. For anyone who fought through every punishing boss and came out the other side emotionally wrecked, this deluxe edition is the physical proof you were there. It belongs on the shelf right next to your other metroidvania trophies.
