Sometimes the best collector's editions don't need a shelf full of statues to earn their keep. The Need for Speed: The Run Limited Edition on PC dropped in November 2011 as a UK release, bundling in-game exclusives that gave you an edge before you ever hit the starting line. Three rides alone make this worth hunting down: a 2011 Lamborghini Aventador, a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, and a 2011 Porsche 911 Carrera S, plus five exclusive racing events you won't find in the standard copy.

The Run itself was an oddball in the NFS lineup, ditching the open world formula for a cross-country, coast-to-coast narrative sprint from San Francisco to New York. It was polarizing at launch, which means it flew under the radar for a lot of collectors. That works in our favor now.

PC copies of mid-gen limited editions tend to vanish quietly, and this one's no exception. The in-game content locks are what separate this from a vanilla copy sitting in a bargain bin, and for NFS completionists building out the full franchise library, a gap on the shelf where The Run Limited Edition should be is a gap that nags. If you spot one still sealed, you know what to do.
