MAG Collector's Edition

PLAYSTATION 3
MAG Collector's Edition
REGION 2
GenreShooter

256 players. One massive battlefield. Zero shelf space required, until now.

The MAG Collector's Edition on PlayStation 3 arrived during the brief, beautiful window when Zipper Interactive thought they could reinvent online warfare at a scale nobody had attempted on console. , Raven, and Valor, letting you choose between the Bulldog, Spyder, and Hazard uniform designs. Three dynamic PS3 themes round out the package.

It's a modest collector's edition by physical standards, but context is everything. MAG was a game that existed entirely online, a 256-player shooter that required PlayStation Plus and a community to function. When those servers went dark, the game itself became unplayable, which makes any physical edition a time capsule of one of Sony's most ambitious experiments.

The armour sets were redeemed via PSN voucher codes, meaning sealed copies still carry that untouched potential, even if the servers they were meant for no longer exist. For PS3 collectors, MAG represents something specific: the era when Sony swung for the fences on exclusives that pushed technical boundaries nobody asked to be pushed. This Collector's Edition is a monument to that ambition, compact, confident, and increasingly scarce.
