Limited Run #272: Accounting+ Tree Guy Edition (PS4)
Limited Run Games

Justin Roiland screaming at you from inside a plush tree. That's the pitch, and honestly, that's enough. Limited Run #272: Accounting+ Tree Guy Edition for PS4 and PlayStation VR is capped at 1,500 copies worldwide, packaging one of VR's most unhinged experiences with a squeeze-activated Tree Guy plush that contains actual voice samples from the co-creator of Rick and Morty. Region free, and completely absurd in the best way.

Accounting+ is the expanded version of the VR experience Roiland made with Crows Crows Crows, a game where you put on a headset and descend through increasingly chaotic, profanity-laced scenarios that feel like being trapped inside an Adult Swim sketch. It's short, loud, hilarious, and the kind of thing you show friends just to watch their reactions. The PSVR library is small enough that every physical release matters, and this one is spine-numbered LR-VR09 in the PlayStation VR series.

The Tree Guy plush is the star of this Collector's Edition. It's a tactile piece of the game's absurdist world that you can keep on your desk and annoy coworkers with. Beyond that, you get an 18x24 poster, a special coin, and the soundtrack on CD in a jewel case. And there's a lottery element here too: 100 orders received randomly inserted cover sheets personally signed by Roiland.

For PSVR collectors, the physical library is a finite, closed set. Every sealed copy gains significance as the hardware generation fades further into the rear view. This particular edition, with its low run count and genuinely unique plush, sits comfortably among the most distinctive PSVR collectibles produced.
