Homefront Collector's Edition
THQ3/17/2011

Homefront had two collector's editions, and this one went the insurgent route. The Homefront Collector's Edition on PC bundles a propaganda booklet, a concept art card, a cloth patch, a shotgun DLC unlock, and a multiplayer unlock pack into a package that leans into the game's resistance-fighter aesthetic. The propaganda booklet is the standout.

It's a piece of in-universe ephemera that captures the tone of THQ's occupied-America storyline with a physicality that digital extras can never replicate. The cloth patch adds a wearable element, a small but meaningful nod to the guerrilla identity at the heart of Homefront's narrative. Concept art cards from this era of PC gaming are becoming harder to source in clean condition, and these offer a window into the visual development of one of 2011's most ambitious (if polarizing) shooter premises.

Where the Voice of Freedom Edition went big with its radio, this Collector's Edition went personal. It's the kind of package that feels like it was assembled for the true believers, the players who connected with the world Kaos Studios built. Compact, thematic, and increasingly uncommon in complete condition.
