ArenaNet really went all out on this one. The Guild Wars Factions Collector's Edition for PC is one of the most overstuffed boxes of the mid-2000s MMO boom, and we mean that as the highest compliment. Inside you'll find the Factions art book, the soundtrack CD, a double-sided poster with the Map of Cantha on one side and the Assassin and Ritualist on the other, a mouse pad featuring the Outlands of Cantha, an 18x25cm Ritualist cloth picture, an Assassin sticker pack, a 2006-2007 desk calendar, and a bonus music key.

Then there are the in-game exclusives: a dance emote for the Assassin and Ritualist classes and a miniature Kuunavang pet. The physical goods here have a tactile quality that MMO collector's editions rarely matched. That cloth picture of the Ritualist is the kind of oddball textile collectible you just don't see anymore.

The art book captures Cantha's East Asian-inspired aesthetic in gorgeous detail, and having the soundtrack on disc means you can revisit those compositions without logging in. Guild Wars understood that its community was deeply invested in the world beyond the gameplay loop. This Collector's Edition reflects that understanding with a package that rewards display and interaction in equal measure.
