Destiny Limited Edition

Before Destiny became the behemoth we know, there was just a disc, a promise, and a whole lot of mystery. The Destiny Limited Edition for Xbox 360 packages that early excitement into a set built around the Guardian Folio, a collection that includes an "Arms and Armament" field guide, Postcards from the Golden Age, and an antique star chart. These aren't throwaway inserts.
They're in-universe documents that treat Destiny's world with the kind of reverence Bungie clearly had for their own lore. The steelbook case houses the disc with the weight it deserves, and the digital content adds a unique Ghost casing, an exclusive player emblem, an exclusive ship skin, and the Destiny Expansion Pass covering both The Dark Below and House of Wolves. That expansion pass alone made this a significant package at launch.
On Xbox 360, this is a transitional artifact. Destiny launched across two generations, and the 360 version represents the end of Bungie's relationship with last-gen hardware. The Limited Edition on this platform shipped in notably smaller quantities than its Xbox One counterpart, making it increasingly uncommon in the wild.
The Guardian Folio contents have a tangible, analog quality that Bungie leaned into beautifully. Postcards, star charts, field guides. This is the kind of physical storytelling that digital deluxe editions simply cannot replicate.
