A road trip where every mile is measured in zombie corpses and terrible decisions. The Death Road to Canada Collector's Edition for Nintendo Switch is a roguelite survival game that somehow makes the apocalypse feel like the best couch co-op session you've ever had.

Death Road to Canada throws you into a car full of randomly generated survivors and points you north toward the Canadian border through cities overrun with up to 500 zombies at once. Every run is different. Locations, events, survivor personalities, and encounters are all randomized, meaning the stories this game generates are endlessly unpredictable. You might teach a dog to drive. You might tell your whole party to "cool it." You will absolutely lose people you've grown attached to, and you'll laugh about it.

The character creator lets you drop yourself, your friends, and your family into the meat grinder, which is either a bonding experience or a friendship test depending on your group. Four-player local co-op means everyone gets to share in the chaos directly. The writing doesn't take itself seriously, but the survival mechanics have real teeth.

Physically owning this one on Switch matters because Death Road to Canada is the kind of game that lives permanently in your rotation. It's not a one-and-done campaign. It's a hundred campaigns, each stranger than the last. The collector's edition gives a forever-replayable game the permanent home it deserves. This belongs on the shelf right next to your other survival essentials.
