Command & Conquer Remastered Collection: Special Edition (PC)
Limited Run Games

Welcome back, Commander. The Command and Conquer Remastered Collection Special Edition for PC is one of those releases that treats a legendary franchise with exactly the reverence it deserves. This is both Command and Conquer and Red Alert, fully remastered in 4K by former Westwood Studios team members at Petroglyph Games, bundled with all three expansion packs, rebuilt multiplayer, and a modernized UI.

The Special Edition wraps all of that in a collector's package that goes hard. The centerpiece is a Tiberium crystal USB drive loaded with the remastered soundtrack, all 119 tracks, over 7 hours of music remastered by Frank Klepacki himself. That alone would justify the pickup.

But you also get four faction enamel pins, tech tree prints for each faction, a reversible poster, and a faction sticker sheet. For those of us who spent the mid-90s harvesting Tiberium and building tank rushes, this is a direct line back to the RTS golden age. The craftsmanship here signals something important: this wasn't a quick cash-grab remaster.

The original developers came back to do it right, and the Special Edition packaging matches that energy. A flagship PC collector's piece that commands attention on any shelf. Kane would approve.
