Assassin's Creed III Washington Edition
Ubisoft6/20/2013Australia

George Washington with superpowers and a crown. That's not fan fiction, that's actual DLC, and it's all included here. The Assassin's Creed III Washington Edition on PlayStation 3 collects the full game alongside every major content expansion Ubisoft released.

You get the Hidden Secrets Pack with three bonus missions spanning Mayan ruins and naval encounters, each unlocking exclusive weapons, singleplayer skins, and multiplayer characters. The Battle Hardened Pack brings new maps, playable characters, and customization options to the competitive side. Then there's the crown jewel: The Tyranny of King Washington, a three-part singleplayer campaign reimagining American history through a lens that's equal parts absurd and compelling.

This was the PS3 era firing on all cylinders, when disc-based complete editions meant you actually owned everything without worrying about server shutdowns or expired download codes. Assassin's Creed III caught criticism at launch, but time has been kinder to it than most people expected. The Washington Edition, with all its content intact, represents the complete artistic vision for the game.

If you're collecting the Assassin's Creed franchise on PS3, having anything less than this version leaves a gap on your shelf. The alternate history campaign remains one of the most daring narrative experiments the series ever attempted, and finding it all on one disc gives it staying power that digital-only content simply can't match.
